Masculinity

I was greatly inspired by Yoko Ono while creating this piece. I am fascinated by her instruction pieces from her book Grapefruit. I decided to follow one titled "A Plus Be Painting", but put my own spin on it! I used my pen drawings and combined typography, creating this digital piece. It tells a story about toxic masculinity and the
effect it has on men, specifically in African American culture.
